​Coffee should be fun.

That simple idea has shaped everything we've built.

​

We believe specialty coffee doesn't have to be intimidating. You shouldn't need to memorize drink recipes or coffee terminology to enjoy an exceptional cup. Great coffee should be approachable, creative, and served by people who genuinely enjoy making it.

That's why you'll find drinks with names that make you laugh, serious attention to quality behind every recipe, and a team that's just as happy explaining the difference between two coffees as they are chatting about your weekend.

Behind the playful names is an obsession with doing things the right way.

We roast our own coffee in small batches right here in Allentown. We make our syrups from scratch using real ingredients. We work with local partners whenever possible, including Crystal Spring Farm for our dairy. Every drink is prepared by baristas who are trained not just to follow recipes, but to understand the craft behind them. It's a level of care that has earned us recognition as Best Specialty Coffee in the Lehigh Valley.

Our bakery follows that same philosophy. Every item we make in-house is prepared without gluten-containing ingredients. We don't use gluten flour in our bakery, and we've developed thoughtful production practices designed to minimize cross-contact while being transparent about the fact that we also serve gluten-containing products in our cafés. We believe honest communication is just as important as great food.

Nowhere Coffee Co. is proudly family-owned and operated by Lauren and Juan Vargas. What began as a shared love of coffee has grown into a business built around craftsmanship, hospitality, and community. Coffee shops have always been places where conversations happen. They're places where friendships begin, ideas are shared, work gets done, and neighbors become regulars. That sense of connection is at the heart of everything we do.

Today, Nowhere includes our West End café and our downtown Allentown roastery, where we roast every coffee we serve and continue experimenting with new drinks, new recipes, and new ideas. We host community events, latte art throwdowns, and classes because we believe coffee shops should be more than somewhere to grab caffeine. They should be places people want to spend time.
